Lung cancer is one of the most dangerous malignant tumors to human health and life, which ranks first in the incidence and death of malignant tumors in China. At present, the treatment methods of western medicine include surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy and immunosuppressive therapy. Although the effective rate is increasing, there are still many limitations. Through clinical practice and scientific research, it is found that relieving clinical symptoms, improving quality of life and prolonging survival time are the advantages of TCM in the treatment of lung cancer. With years of clinical summary and experience, our department has established a relatively complete integrated TCM and western medicine treatment plan for cancer patients. The department adopts "minimally invasive therapy and combination of TCM and western medicine" as the main treatment model, which performs peripheral vascular intervention, argon-helium knife, radio-frequency ablation therapy on the basis of the TCM treatment. This method not only relieves clinical symptoms and adverse reactions, but also improves the control rate of local tumor foci. In addition to the oral administration of TCM, our department also developed a series of external treatment techniques, which complement the oral administration of TCM, constituting a TCM comprehensive treatment system for lung cancer patients. At present, our department outperforms our peers in the concept, means and efficacy of advanced non-small cell lung cancer treatment in China.
